Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Migo Match collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our mobile app, website, support tools, and related services.

Account deletion

Request deletion of your Migo Match account and data

In the app, go to Settings AccountDelete Account. Your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period.

If you cannot access the app, email support@migomatch.com with the subject Account deletion request and include the email address linked to your Migo Match account. We may ask for additional information to verify ownership before completing the request.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Google Play or the app store where you purchased it. Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by an app store.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, Google account identifier, profile photo, username, account status, sign-in provider, and login timestamps.

Profile information: gender, birthday or age information, bio, country, language, profile photos, and profile preferences you choose to provide.

App activity: matchmaking preferences, matches, call history, wallet and coin activity, VIP subscription status, gifts, referrals, blocks, reports, support requests, notification settings, and other actions needed to operate the app.

Messages and call-related data: messages, in-call gift activity, call session metadata, call status, participant identifiers, and technical tokens needed to connect live video calls.

Device and technical information: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens, device or app diagnostics, error logs generated by the app, IP address, and similar information used for security, delivery, and service reliability.

Media and permissions: photos you upload to your profile or stories, and camera and microphone access when you use live video calling features.

Purchase information: product identifiers, purchase tokens, transaction status, subscription status, and wallet balance changes needed to verify and fulfill in-app purchases through Google Play or other supported app stores.

2. How We Use Information

To create and manage your Migo Match account.

To provide matching, profile discovery, live video calls, messaging, wallet, gifts, VIP subscriptions, referrals, support, blocking, and reporting features.

To verify purchases, prevent fraud, enforce our policies, moderate safety reports, and protect users and the service.

To send service notifications, call alerts, match updates, support responses, and account-related messages.

To maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app and backend systems.

To comply with legal, tax, security, accounting, and app-store obligations.

3. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers that help us operate Migo Match, including Firebase and Google services for authentication, database, storage, push messaging, and app infrastructure; Google Play and Apple services for purchase verification and subscription management; Agora or similar real-time communication providers for live calling; and hosting, monitoring, security, and support tools.

Other users may see information you choose to make visible, such as your display name, age, profile photo, profile details, online or call-related status, and content you share in the app.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

4. Camera, Microphone, Photos, and Notifications

Camera and microphone permissions are used to provide live video calling. We do not use these permissions outside call features.

Photo access is used when you choose to upload profile photos or stories.

Notification permission is used to send call, match, message, account, and service updates. You can manage notification choices in the app and in your device settings.

Migo Match does not intentionally record live video calls unless a feature, legal requirement, or safety process is clearly disclosed to you.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including authenticated access, secure transport, access controls, and cloud infrastructure protections.

No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We keep account, profile, wallet, purchase, subscription, safety, support, and activity information for as long as needed to provide Migo Match, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.

Uploaded photos and profile content are retained while your account is active unless you remove them or request deletion.

Some records, such as purchase, fraud-prevention, moderation, legal, tax, or security records, may be retained for longer when required or permitted by law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can update profile information, remove photos, manage notifications, block users, report users, and contact support from inside the app.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

To make a privacy request, contact us at support@migomatch.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.

8. Children and Age Requirement

Migo Match is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. International Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws.

When we transfer or process information internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or by other appropriate means.
